To align with the ILO principles, employers must commit to respect and promote the following: freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, the elimination of forced or compulsory labor, the abolition of child labor, and the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

These are the fundamental rights for workers:

– Freedom to Join a Union

– Safe Workplace

– Harassment-Free Workplace

– A workplace free of discrimination

– Right to have medical or family leave

– Receive the minimum wage

– Retaliation Free Workplace

– Right to investigate if your rights were not respected

– A safe place in case you suffer from any disability

– Right to protest

 

All these rights must be fulfilled. If not, the employee has the right to make a claim.

 

How can I make an official claim?
